    Muchalat Lake
    Muchalat Lake provides good fishing: Rainbow and Cutthroat Trout, Dolly Varden Char and Kokanee Salmon can all be found in its waters. This reasonably expansive lake is also great for paddling and a boat launch and campsite are located here. The lake is 19 km (12 mi) northwest of Gold River and can be accessed from the road to Woss.

    Donner Lake
    Located on the western boundary of the stunning Strathcona Provincial Park, access to this isolated lake requires a 4x4 vehicle and a short hike. Get there via the E.R.T. Ucona Road, off Highway 19.

    Upana Lake
    Upana Lake is a popular summer fishing spot with much success hooking Rainbow Trout. The Upana Caves are located nearby. The lake is located 17 km (10.5 mi) northwest of Gold River.

    Kunlin Lake
    Kunlin Lake offers excellent trout fishing throughout summer. Situated 13 km (8 mi) southeast of Gold River, in the stunning Strathcona Provincial Park, the lake can be reached via the E.R.T. Ucona Road, off Highway 19.

    Drum Lake
    Situated on the western boundary of Strathcona Provincial Park, Drum Lake is a small lake offering good Cutthroat Trout fishing during May, June, September and October. A pleasant day site, there are picnic areas and a car top boat launch at the lake. Located 19 km (12 mi) northeast of Gold River, the lake is accessed off Highway 19.

    Antler Lake
    Antler Lake is home to Cutthroat Trout and fishing is at its best from April to June and from September to October. There is a picnic area and boat launch on-site. Power boats are prohibited. The lake is located 4 km (2.5 mi) north of Gold River and access is off the Gold River Main Road to Woss.
