Offering views of the beaches and coastlines along Kyuquot Sound and out into the Pacific Ocean, Rugged Point offers a day/picnic area as well as one designated wilderness camping area. Camping is also allowed along the park's western beaches. The park can only be reached by boat and activities for visitors include hiking, sea kayaking, canoeing, fishing, swimming and surfing.
At 10,972ha, Tahsish-Kwois is one of the largest provincial parks on Vancouver Island. Established in 1995, the park contains three rivers and two lakes and supports populations of nearly every type of animal that exist on the island including grey wolves, cougars, black bears, raccoons and various bird species.
