This wilderness wonderland is proudly primitive - the trails are rough and there are none of the common park facilities. But the extensive forest of ancient cedars and world's largest spruce trees will make even the most urban soul cry out in joy. Wilderness hiking and camping are popular, but take note of the park's conditions.
Nantree Park is located on the lakefront providing access to Cowichan Lake. A large, adult-size water slide provides entertainment for all. Other activities including waterskiing, tubing and fishing.
Marble Bay Park offers year-round hiking. Hikers can make their way to the top of Bald Mountain or travel the several trails available in the area. Visitors are advised to stay on paths and to take their garbage out with them.
Located on Cowichan Lake, this wooded park offers picnic areas to enjoy.
